Google Chrome: Another web browser?

I heard about Google Chrome from Hitz.fm radio this evening while driving back home. Read this to know what is Google Chrome. With so many web browsers available nowadays, I wonder how Google will 'market' its Chrome with other web browsers. Although, Google has quote as below, but I find it quite hard to fight for a place with so many 'competitors' in the market.

So why are we launching Google Chrome? Because we believe we can add value for users and, at the same time, help drive innovation on the web.

Chrome has subtle differences from other browsers. For ordinary user, it looks the same, behavior like any other browser you have used. You can even skin FireFox to looks like Chrome like what I did. The huge difference lies within, its DNA. One of the key feature is a single page cannot cause the whole browser to terminate abruptly. Image a single faulty Windows application forces you to restart your Windows instead of just terminating the rogue application.

yes, i agree..loading a page will not affect the other pages ... loading is in fact faster plus if it crashes only one tab need to be close..

however, I've found a few times that my whole chrome hang when one tab is having some problem with certain java scripts...

anyway, I used chrome and FF for different purposes...
