I am proud to be a Malaysian not just because I am born and bred here lah.
I love Malaysia because there are so many mamaks (a place where you can yum-char with your friends day and night) in town that opens 24/7 that sells nasi lemak lah, roti canai lah, capati lah, and whatnots lah, so you won’t be worrying of hunger even after midnight.
I love Malaysia because they have many grades of durian during the durian session, where you can get your D24 or D21 or … (what else?). I am a durian lover and I wallop durians like nobody’s business during the durian session just like some hungry ghost kan, only that I am a hungry durian ghost (lol).
I love Malaysia because they have the best Bak Kut Teh in Klang town, some say in Johor and Penang as well. If you really haven’t try Bak Kut Teh before, then you shouldn’t miss out the best Bak Kut Teh in Klang! They have about 600 shops/stalls selling Bak Kut Teh in Klang town only (could be increasing or decreasing depending on inflation rate..lol), where they sell from plain Bak Kut Teh to dry Bak Kut Teh to Seafood Bak Kut Teh and Abalone Bak Kut Teh too! Alamak, do you know, with so many available food in Malaysia 24/7, our obese rate in Malaysia is increasing every year, this is not good lah but we still love eating Malaysian food, don’t we? I love Malaysia because Malaysia never fails to celebrate its Merdeka day every year at 31 August where I get to see beautiful fireworks, and this year we are celebrating our 50+1 years together with my brother’s wedding (hehe). I love Malaysia for having beautiful beaches like Langkawi and Redang. And last but not least, I love Malaysia because we have many famous politic figures, sports figures and celebrity figures that are famous not only in Malaysia but internationally as well, such as Pak Lah, Michelle Yeoh (she looks very pretty in The Mummy), Nicol David, Lee Chong Wei and a few more lah.
